Pathbox was conceived to use as little personal data as possible. Your data is solely used to track your location and make it available to whomever you share the link with. Your location data is not used for any other purpose.

Personal data of Pathbox users

Pathbox processes what personal data is provided for the purpose of supplying its services (tracking and sharing location). Pathbox does not track your IP address.

How long is data stored for?

Pathbox currently stores data indefinitely. If you want your data to be deleted, please write us an email with a link to your personal tracks.

Where is my data stored?

When the app has internet access, your location is sent to remote servers run by Firebase. Firebase is owned by Google.

When you use Firebase, Google is generally a data processor under GDPR and processes personal data on your behalf.

Google Analytics

Pathbox uses Google Analytics.

The following information is sent to Google Analytics when using Pathbox:

• Device, browser and referrer;
• Unique identifiers;
• Approximate location;
• Usage of the website;
• Requests and responses sent to and from your device.

This data is used for

• Monitoring the performance of the website;
• Improving and optimizing the website and services of Pathbox.

From time to time, Pathbox will revise this policy, without further notice. Pathbox recommends that you regularly check whether this policy has been revised. However, Pathbox will notify users via notifications in the app about any major changes that would negatively impact User’s interests.
